Cleaning
All glass and pottery items listed for online auction should be cleaned well
enough to reveal any damage or flaws before photographing or listing.
Photography
Photographs shown in the listing will be of the actual item offered and will not be
taken in a position to hide any damage or flaws unless the seller offers multiple views of the
item to include flaws and "good" side.
Descriptions
Any and all flaws and/or damage will be described in the listing, including
common manufacturing flaws such as glaze pops or straw marks. The seller
may rely on the GPSA page "Glossary of Flaws& Damage - How
to Accurately Describe Condition" in order to remain consistent
in language with other association members and to insure a thorough
description.
Packaging
All glass and pottery items will be packaged carefully and conscientiously
with consideration for the rigors of shipping, so that the item will
arrive in the same condition that it was shipped.
Handling Fees
Listings must include shipping and handling charges that are clear. Handling fees (if any) are to cover the cost
of material involved in secure shipment, not for fee avoidance, or profit
above the final bid.
Privacy
Association members treat all information obtained in order to complete
a transaction such as name, address, and e-mail address as private and
confidential. Aside from addressing a package for shipment this information
is never disclosed to any other seller or outside source.
Return policies
Association members are independent sellers with a variety of return
policies. Being a member of this association means that the member places
importance on fairness and honesty in their business. If you have a
question regarding a sellers policy on accepting returns and how refunds
will be issued it is suggested that you contact the seller regarding
their specific policy prior to bidding.
